Join helpNYC at Center Works' first open house, and find everything you need to be prepared for job interviews! Come get free interview outfits, find information and resources on name and gender marker changes, and enjoy a takeaway barbeque.
Center Works helps LGBTQ young adults ages 18+ to confidently enter the job market, advance their careers, and become financially stable, all while building community with their peers. It was created to address the needs LGBTQ young adults face around entering the workforce and as a next step for folks graduating from The Center’s youth program.

The first annual 2022 helpNYC Garden was a huge success. Over 45 people attended and helped raise money for the work of helpNYC. We are deeply grateful to those who donated and the partnerships we built to support our work.
Special thanks go to the party's sponsor Housing Works and to our gracious host St. John's in the Village. We could not have done this event without you!
We raised $2,949 that will go directly to the work of helpNYC.
