Manhattan Together needs your input, fill out their survey today!

November 5, 2019 4:30p

Hello Neighbor,

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to share this very important message with you and get your feedback through an online survey.

Several years ago Mental Health Respites were created under a federal grant to create and study a hospital diversion for people who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing a psychiatric or emotional crisis. In the past, the emergency departments of hospitals were the only alternative to people experiencing emotional or psychiatric crisis. Organizations like Community Access, ACMH, and others have been operating Mental Health Crisis Respite Centers now for many years, helping turn the tide on how we support people with mental health concerns.

Manhattan Together, a collaboration of direct service providers and non-profits, are asking New Yorkers in all five boroughs of New York City that have Psych-ER experience as a patient or a friend/family of a patient to fill out a short survey. If you would please take 5-10 minutes to fill out this survey it would be a great help to them.

If you have been to a Psychiatric ER as a patient, please click here to complete the survey.

If you have accompanied a person to a Psychiatric ER, please click here to complete the survey.
